Bungawalbin Wetland Health Project
This project was funded by the Myer Foundation. WCA's Garry Owers developed management plans, with farmers, to improve creek water quality by decreasing black water events and the negative effects of the oxidation of potential acid sulfate soils.
Bellinger and Nambucca
This project provided a suite of on-ground projects supported by extension and advisory services covering the Tweed, Richmond, Clarence, Bellinger, Nambucca, Macleay and Hastings floodplains improved the environmental management of acid sulfate soils (ASS) hot spot areas and the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) on relevant floodplains.
