Hunter Estuary Shorebird Seminar Presentations
WetlandCare Australia (WCA) hosted a seminar in November 2011 to present land managers across the Hunter Estuary with up-to-date information on shorebird management. Sixty people attended from the government, industry, consulting and community conservation sectors.
WCA extends our thanks to the speakers, who donated their time to share their knowledge at the seminar. After the seminar, we received many requests for access to the presentations. They are posted here for your information.
Please bear in mind that they were prepared to be presented live. The content may not stand alone as a web document. If you want to follow up with a presenter, you can contact them direct or email WetlandCare Australia's Hunter Region Coordinator Louise Duff and she will put you in touch.
For an excellent summary of the seminar's key themes and the need for a strategic, collaborative and coordinated approach to shorebird management in the estuary, read the concluding remarks by Pam Dean-Jones.
