Clean Up Australia Day - Lota Creek

Litter has devastating effects on our local wildlife and waterway health, so join Bayside Creeks Catchments Group and WetlandCare Australia to clean up the Lota foreshore and surrounding reserves for Clean Up Australia Day 2012.

Lota Creek is part of WetlandCare Australia's Coastal 20 Wetlands project, as part of their goal to improve Moreton Bay. The Coastal 20 Wetlands project is an environmental rehabilitation initiative funded by the Australian Government's Caring For Our Country Program.

You will need to bring along your friends and families, as well as appropriate footwear, gloves, hat, sunscreen and water.

Where:                   Shelter shed at the corner of the Esplanade and Orallo Street, Lota
