The WetlandCare Australia Trust Fund has been established to receive donations and bequests and to direct all monies received to wetland repair and conservation. The Board of Wetland Care Australia has directed that all donated funds be kept in perpetuity, and the interest raised will be allocated to improve and conserve wetlands for the public good. In this way your kind donation keeps working to enhance Australia's wetlands.
The Trust Fund (ABN 95797203872) is registered with the Australian Tax Office and is endorsed as an income tax exempt Charitable Entity, which means that your generous gift will not be subject to taxes. In addition, as the Trust Fund is a Deductible Gift Recipient, your donation is tax deductible for you.
There are a variety of ways in which you can include WetlandCare Australia in your will and this is best discussed with your solicitor and/or properly qualified Trustee.
An example of how you may word your instructions is:
"I bequeath to WetlandCare Australia Trust Fund ABN 95797203872 the sum of ........ dollars, free of all duties and taxes payable upon or in consequence of my death, for the purposes of wetland rehabilitation and conservation. I declare that the official receipt of the WetlandCare Australia Trust Fund shall be a good discharge to my executors."
