WetlandCare Australia has entered into an exciting new partnership with Vonmac Pty Ltd who have proudly become a corporate sponsor of WetlandCare Australia.

Vonmac Pty Ltd, a fully Australian owned company, are the designers, manufacturers and distributors of Plastipile^TM, an innovative product used in wetland rehabilitation and repair.

Plastipile^TM is a world first in solid plastic sheet piling made from recycled plastic waste. Due to its unique design, it can be interlocked in more than two directions to form a water tight structure of infinite width and length, which makes it suitable for use in wetland and waterway repair in many different environments.

Vonmac's installation team use specialised low-impact construction equipment and methods to construct temporary or permanent water control structures including weirs, channels, dams and wave erosion protection. Direct fish passage or adjoining fish passage structures are easily included into water control structures due to the incredible design flexibility of using Plastipile^TM. It can also be used in conjunction with aluminium and stainless steel regulators and carp screens/trash racks.

Vonmac Pty Ltd will donate a percentage from each Plastipile^TM used in their projects to WetlandCare Australia, as well as providing staff training in using their unique product in wetland repair.
